Privacy policy

In force since 14 September 2026

1. Who processes the data

The data collected on this site is processed by LILIANA L. PINTO UNIP LDA, tax number 516272721, registered at RUA TULIPAS 86 / 4425-209 MAIA. Any question about this policy or about the data processed should be addressed to hello@bookgest.net.

2. What is collected on this site

This site collects data in one place only: the trial request form. The fields are:

  • Company, name and email: required, because they are what makes a reply possible
  • Phone, operating region and message: optional
  • Approximate volume of services per month and the plan of interest, to prepare the reply

On submission the IP address and the date of the request are also recorded. That is the minimum record that allows the site to be defended against automated submissions and to demonstrate, if needed, when and from where a consent was given.

3. What it is used for

This data is used to answer the request, to prepare access to the trial and to follow it through. It has no other use, it is not cross-referenced with other sources, and it does not result in a newsletter subscription unless one is expressly requested.

4. On what legal basis

The processing rests on consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and on the pre-contractual steps arising from the request to try the product. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, in writing to the address above. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

5. How long it is kept

Where no subscription follows, the request is deleted after 12 months. Where one does, the data comes to be processed under the contract and is subject to the period set out in it.

6. Who it is shared with

With nobody for commercial purposes. There are only two third parties along the way, both processors under a data processing agreement:

  • The hosting provider this site runs on, with servers in the European Union
  • The email provider through which the form message is sent

7. Cookies

This site uses one cookie, technical and strictly necessary: the PHP session cookie, which lets the form keep what was filled in if validation refuses, and validates the token that prevents submissions from other sites. It expires when the browser is closed.

There are no analytics, advertising or social network cookies, and therefore no cookie banner: a strictly necessary cookie does not require consent.

8. Data inside the platform

This policy covers the SITE. The data that enters the BookGest platform after subscription (bookings, clients, passengers, drivers, pickup addresses) is processed by us as a processor and by the subscriber as controller, under the terms of the contract. Each company has its own database, separate from the rest.

9. The data subject's rights

The data subject may request, at any time: access to the data, correction of anything wrong, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability. The request is made to hello@bookgest.net and is answered within the legal period of one month.

If the data subject considers that the processing was not carried out properly, they may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (www.cnpd.pt) or with the supervisory authority of their own country.

10. Security

The site and the platform are served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Passwords are stored encrypted and never in readable form. Backups are daily and stored encrypted.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the change is material, it is communicated by email to anyone with an active subscription.
